The Bluegrass State Games is a non-profit program sponsored privately to promote amateur athletics across the Commonwealth. It is designed to provide Kentuckians of all ages and skill levels a wholesome avenue for positive development through sports and physical activity, to promote and develop amateur athletics and to provide the amateur athlete an opportunity to showcase their talent and receive statewide recognition. This is our 2nd year to host the State Games Championships. Last year we had 48 competition performances with over 485 competitors, THIS YEAR WE HAD A WHOPPING 99 COMPETITION PERFORMANCES WITH OVER 983 COMPETITORS!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION AND CONTINUED SUPPORT! We are working hard to grow the competition and appreciate all of our competitors and fan support. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
All teams participating in this competition receive a placement trophy, regardless of score and number of teams in their division, as well as Grand Champion, Best Choreography, Spirit Award and Coach of the Year Award. In addition, the competitors that place in the Top 3 in their division, will also be getting Bluegrass State Games gold, silver and bronze medals.
